Just as we check our vehicles from time to time to see if it needs an alignment to run smoothly and efficiently on the road, we can check our mindZ and heartsZ to see if WE need an alignment to help US operate more smoothly and efficiently.Some of us have been jolted so far out of balance by the people and events in our lives that we’re thrown into a tail spin. Our knee-jerk reaction is to frantically search for easy and quick answers that will solve our complicated dilemmas. We look to experts, thought leaders and “guru’s” that promise to have discovered the best solution for setting our world straight.
Because there’s an over-abundance of tools and Guru’s with answers, finding just the right solution is a stressful exercise in itself.
One of the best ways I have found to guide me through the maze and set me straight is to study and hang with people and ideas that inspire me to GREATNESS;
* that encourage me to feel good about myself, my life and the world around me;
* that renew my faith, hope and strength to keep plugging away despite the urge to give up.
17 years ago I connected with Barbara Marx Hubbard, a respected pioneer in positive options for the future, for the very first time. We crossed paths again just recently, and I doubt it was only a coincidence. For years I have looked to her for knowledge and inspiration. When I discovered she was to speak at a women’s conference in Denver along with Jeanne Houston, Mary Manin Morrisey and magical musician and singer, Ricky Byers, I didn’t hesitate for a minute to sign up.
It was magical! I walked away inspired and energized.
I tapped into Barbara’s website today to see what she and her talented and passionate online team are doing lately to enlighten the world.
