“We dream about what will happen as more and more women artists gain the resources they need to express their creativity fully.  We are convinced that they will change the world.”

Debbie Ducic, founder of GutZy Women and Kay Singleton, founder of Alpine Artist, finish off this series of three videos by revealing the struggles many women face when the responsibility of care giving eclipses the desire to self actualize their creative talents and gifts.

This video reveals one woman’s process that many others go through when they find themselves unable to do it all.

This story has a happy ending…one that creative and entrepreneurial women across the world can draw strength and wisdom from.

Creative people who want to attract income from the thing they love doing will benefit from this video.  Take a look and then tell us about YOUR story. GutZy Women want to know!

Here’s another great resource in the support of women in the arts:

SWAN Day (Support Women Artists Now Day) is a new international holiday that celebrates women artists.
It will be an annual event taking place on the last Saturday of Women’s History Month (March). The first
SWAN Day will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2008

As a symbol of international solidarity, over 100 SWAN Day events have been scheduled around the world

By focusing attention on the work of women artists, SWAN Day will help people imagine what the world might be like if women’s art and perspectives were fully integrated into all of our lives. The public is invited to attend SWAN Day events and to make donations to their favorite women artists. The long term goal of SWAN Day is to inspire communities around the world to find new ways to recognize and support women artists as a basic element of civic planning.

You can get involved…contact GutZy Women to find out how.

Kay Singleton of Alpine Artist shares her advice, tips and strategies that have proven successful for her with Debbie Ducic, founder of GutZy Women in this second interview video in a series of 3.

Kay, like many other artists who are dedicated to their passion, wanted to find other avenues to sell her work, so decided many years ago that a website would be that avenue. http

www.AlpineArtist.com

She knew that was just the beginning of her efforts online so she studied how to optimize it for the search engines, added a blog, sends out a regular eNewletter, and just recently has added her art to a few international art websites that sell the works of artists all over the world.

Watch this video to discover what those sites are AND what the surprising bonus is from taking that action!

Artists of all types can benefit from this valuable discussion between two GutZy Women who understand the power of the internet to grow their businesses which also happen to be their passions!

For all you artists out there who dream of  making a living doing what you LOVE…listen up!

GutZy Women has found a few women artists who have made a point of overcoming their fear of technology and and the internet in order to get more recognition, more awards and more income getting their creations out into the world and are reaping the rewards of their efforts.

One of those artists is Kay Singleton, of Alpine Arts. As you’ll learn in the video, Kay has been an inspiration to me for many years because she is a sincere, caring, spiritual and loving person as well as an incredibly talented Creatress.

She has many talents…painting, sculpting, home decorating, decorative tile, writing, speaking, song writing, poetry, singing, guitar playing..I mean SHE IS AMAZING!

But on top of all that, she is very good at marketing herself, both by traditional means AND on the internet. Not with just a website of her own, but through other local and international websites featuring art you can buy online.

Not one to rest on her laurels, Kay continually reinvents herself. In this video she talks about how she sees that all of her talents are coming together to create new forms of multi-media presentations for many different kinds of applications.

So what is she doing about it? Why, creating a new website to introduce it…thats what.

Stay tuned…this is only part one in the series. Kay has so much more to offer!
