In case you are wondering what this string of gibberish is up above… it has to do with the latest and wildest new social media site on the Internet! EMPIRE AVENUE
Yeah, I know that most of you are resisting any NEW social networking sites because of the time you most probably are already spending on the “basic” places like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, but THIS community is SO different and SO COOL!
I ignored it for a while because I just didn’t want to deal with one more thing… but I am so glad I did! Already I have met some VERY GutZy Women (and Brave Men), and in the end… that is what I get JAZZED about.
What makes it so different is that it is set up like “Wall Street” and the stock market where you but shares of people or entities with value or money named “Eaves” . “Value” is derived from interaction on all kinds of social media sites as well as a whole bunch of other little ”perks” in return for you taking some kind of action.
In just a week I had amassed a “fortune” of 50,000 Eaves, which is illusory, of course. AND, as a former stock broker in the USA, in one of my former lifetimes… it brings back memories of the “game” … which I can now play in a way that is much more suited to my ”vision” of how we can change the way business is done by creating a “blended bottom line” which includes, profit, community and planet. Interesting that this has come about at a time when the world is ready for a new and different way to “play the financial game”.
